An email parser reads the emails a system sends you and pulls out the parts you need: a name, a phone number, an order total, an address. SyncYak Parse gives you inboxes that receive those emails, templates and rules that extract the fields, and destinations that receive the result seconds later, as a Google Sheet row, a Zapier or Make trigger, or a signed JSON webhook.
Every email is stored before it is parsed, so a rule you fix tomorrow can be replayed against today’s mail, and nothing is lost when a destination is down.
How it works
How the email parser works
Create an inbox
Use the address on parse.syncyak.com you get on day one, or receive on your own domain from a paid plan.
Define the fields
Start from a ready-made template or write rules: label and value, regex, between markers, CSS selector, header, with transforms such as phone or date.
Deliver the result
Each parsed email goes to every destination you add: a Google Sheet, a Zapier hook, or your webhook.
Extract data from emails with rules you can read
Templates run in priority order and the first whose conditions pass is used. Within a template, several rules for one field form a fallback chain: the first non-empty value wins. A field can be required, so a message that does not yield it is marked invalid instead of delivering half a record.
Test any template against a real message before you rely on it: the test shows which conditions passed and what each rule extracted.
- Sources: body, subject, from, any header
- Extractors: label and value, regex, between markers, CSS selector, meta tag, header
- Transforms: trim, lower case, US phone number, number, date
Inbound email parsing that never drops a message
Parse stores the raw message first, then parses and delivers. Deliveries that fail on a timeout, a 408, a 429 or a 5xx are retried for about an hour, doubling from 30 seconds; any 2xx is final so a receiver never creates a record twice. Failed deliveries can be replayed after you fix the receiver.
Use cases
What people parse
Lead notifications
Portal and form emails into a CRM, a sheet or a sales tool.
Orders and receipts
Order confirmations into an accounting or fulfilment system.
Alerts from old systems
Systems that only send email, turned into structured events.
What you get with Parse
Parse is the email parsing product of SyncYak. Every account gets an inbox on parse.syncyak.com the moment Parse is switched on, every email it receives is stored before it is parsed, and each parsed email can go to any number of destinations: a Google Sheet, a Zapier, Make or n8n hook, or your own webhook.
Free parses 100 emails a month in 2 inboxes. Hobby is $9 a month for 1,000 emails and 10 inboxes, with your own domain from Hobby and Google Sheets lookups from Hobby. Pro is $29 for 5,000 emails.
- Ready-made templates for Zillow, Realtor.com, IDX registrations, CINC, BoomTown, Follow Up Boss, Velocify and paid social lead forms, plus a catch-all
- Rules by label, regex, CSS selector or mailparser.io filter chain, tested against real messages
- Signed deliveries (X-SyncYak-Signature), retried for about an hour on timeouts and server errors, and replayable
- Sub-addresses (inbox+zillow@…) to tell sources apart, and mailparser.io’s form payload format when a receiver expects it
Frequently asked questions
Something else? Write to contact@syncyak.com and a person answers.
Can I receive on my own domain?
Yes, from a paid plan: add an MX record and a TXT record, and choose the address, such as leads@parser.yourcompany.com. The console detects your DNS provider and shows the exact values.
What does the webhook payload look like?
JSON with the message, the inbox, the template used and a fields object, or mailparser.io’s form format if you prefer. Each request carries an X-SyncYak-Signature header.
Is there an API?
Yes. Inboxes, templates, messages and deliveries are all available over the API with an account key, and raw messages can be posted to an inbox through the API.
Is there a free plan for Parse?
Yes. Parse has a free tier with no card and no end date: 100 emails a month, 2 inboxes, google sheets, zapier and webhooks. Paid tiers start at $9 a month, and you can move up or down at any time.
Can I use the other SyncYak products on the same account?
Yes. Email parsing, the mailbox API, CRM sync, error tracking and tunnels share one login, one team, one API key system and one bill. Each product has its own tier, so you only pay more for the one that grows.
